Meet Alex!
Alex is the founder of AS Digital, and is passionate about making sure every solution is tailored for each client and serves their best interests.
Q: So Alex, who are you?
Hi, I’m Alex!
I’m a great study of contradictions – I’ve been vegan for more than a decade, I love animals, I am absolutely not politically correct and I’m very ambitious. I studied at Macquarie University as a Telecommunications Engineer with honours. I went straight to work after five years of learning to join the Optus Graduate Program.
It didn’t take long to work out that working in an engineering team wasn’t for me, so I leapt into strategy, marketing, and innovation. After counting down the days and hours in a corporate environment, I decided to create the sort of business I’d want to work in – AS Digital.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at AS Digital?
The best thing about working at AS Digital is the high calibre of talent and creativity in the team. Plus, everyone gets along really well! The team also really values and respects our clients and their customers.
Q: What’s your favourite quote?
“Never settle for mediocrity” and/or “she’ll be right”.
Meet Tim!
Tim is one of the first members of the AS Digital team, and manages the agency. Having worked across a wide range of agency and client-side roles, from the tools to the top, Tim knows marketing inside out.
Q: So Tim, who are you?
Hi, I’m Tim!
Originally from the UK, I started my career as a Business student at Portsmouth University. Since then I’ve worked in copywriting, content creation, video editing, graphic design, web design & development, and digital marketing management, to name a few. By living and working in countries across the globe, such as the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia if witnessed and learned a lot of different way of doing things and approaching problems – which helps in both work and family life!
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at AS Digital?
As someone who is growth-oriented, it’s been a joy to watch the team almost quadruple in size in the past year. My focus is always on helping people and acheiving positive end results, so I’ve loved watching these come to fruition for both AS Digital and our clients.
Q: What’s your favourite quote?
“Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.”
Producing solutions for clients that are practical, beautiful, and provide a real return has always been my driving passion.
Meet Kristy!
Kristy specializes in Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram advertising, and search engine optimisation (SEO). With a strategic and thorough approach, analytical thinking, creativity, and efficiency, she’s passionate about driving measurable results.
Q: So Kristy, who are you?
I’ve worked in marketing management positions for about 23 years now, (yes, I’m very old), becoming obsessed with digital in particular over the past few years. When I’m not working, I’m generally hanging out with my family that includes a toddler, and a nine year old. I also try to fit in some time to see friends, read a little, and watch copious amounts of Netflix!
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at AS Digital?
The variety of clients we work with and of course the team! We work so well together, and I love how everyone supports each other and helps each other no matter what.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
My favourite quote is: “She who is brave is free.”
It’s so important to take risks and try new things even if you’re scared!
