Here is how to get your account up and running and optimise it.
2. Add your business.
Enter your business name and select your business category from the drop down.
3. Add your business location.
If you have a physical location, select Yes and enter your address. If your business does not have a physical location but offers a service or delivery, list your delivery area.
4. Fill out your contact information.
Type in your business phone number and website address so that customers can reach you.
5. Add your services and business hours.
After verifying your account, you’ll have the chance to select the services your business provides which will help the business show to people who are looking for your services.

6. Add your business description.

7. Finish and manage your listing.
After you finish filling in your business information, you’ll need to verify that you own or have authority to manage the listing. Once you’ve verified your ownership and the listing is complete, you’ll be directed to the Google My Business dashboard where you can start managing your business profile on Google along with its related services.
After setting up your account, here are some tips you can do to optimize your business profile:
- Fill out your whole profile.
Add as much information and media as you can, including a business profile photo, detailed description, the area you’re in, attributes, your opening hours and website URL.

You can edit your business profile anytime by logging into your GMB account and clicking on the “Info” button.
